Alarms and Stereos This store is pretty small but they still have quite a selection to choose from. They carry all the name brand and top quality alarms and stereos and stereo equipment for your vehicles. The prices are pretty high but they do have the best selection in the valley. They have the famous one dollar installation too. The sales people are pretty good and they are knowledgeable about the products. Sometimes they have a good sale going on especially around the holidays.
Great service! The staff at this Audio Express is very helpful, and the service is painless. I've had two car stereos installed by them with no complaints! Get there early on your installation day. It is first come, first serve!
Run away fast !!! don't let these kids on scottsdale touch your car. they told me they would install an amp for me on a sunday morning, but they wanted to be paid in cash. I thought i would still get a receipt, but no. they had my car 6 hours that day and 3 the next. when i finally demanded my car back, after excuse after excuse, my fade and balance didnt work, only my back speakers worked, they didn't use the install kit I bought they used scrap wires, they broke my dash plate and my window controller on the drivers side. Audio express over priced and dont know what they are doing. lazy,rude,overpriced, complet idiots. I had an alarm installed there and the alarms are way over priced that makes up for the 1 doallar install. The alarm in my truck goes off while driving my lights inside turn on randomly and ive been in twice to get fixed and nothing still. They do not give refunds you dont find that out untill after you pay. Home of the one dollar installation? I bought a stereo at the Tempe location and had it installed per their "one dollar" installation. When I received my car from the installers I found only one speaker connected out of four. They told me it would cost me an additional $80 to install the other three speakers. How hard is it to just plug the wires in? They refused to do any additional work on the install without further payment. I installed the other three myself. The speaker wires were all I touched. Im not happy with this place I wanted to replace my amp in my car, with a better amp. One of the sales guys looked at my amp in my car and suggested a better amp. So I asked how much would it cost to install such amp, and he quoted me a price. I told him that I would buy the amp else where and that I wanted them to install it. He said that was fine, and to bring it in. Three days later I showed up with the amp, and the installation price tripled. The sales person said that the price only held if I bought the amp from them. Shoddy work and a bad attitude When I had my alarm system installed, there, it didn't work reliably from the start. I went back and had them look it over, they said nothing was wrong. I then started to poke around on my own and found that all the wiring had been done by wrapping the bare wire ends around fuses in the fusebox. No wonder it was unreliable. It took seven trips to finally get a proper installation, and they acted like I was asking for too much.
