Customer service was terrible! We called for some assistance finding a part to either order or collect in store. The person we spoke with was very rude and dismissive and any question was met with an attitude. We ended the call with a “thank you for your help” and were met with “yup” and they hung up on us. Bad manners and terrible telephone etiquette.

Very pleased with Mike and repair to our freezer. Prompt, nice, and fair. Next time I have a problem with any appliance, I'm calling A-1 and I won't hesitate to recommend them to others.

Once you pay the requires initial deposit you might never have appliance repaired properly. It seems this company just wants the fee to look at you appliance and does not have the qualifications to repair.

My freezer started putting out an electrical burning smell so I pulled it out from the wall and looked in the back. There was a small amount of smoke coming from the side of the compressor. I removed the capacitor thinking that was the problem. I called A1 Appliance to find out if they had the part. The man on the phone said he did not think that it was the capacitor since they rarely fail. I asked if I could bring it in to be tested. They said sure. I brought it in and it tested good. We have had A-1 Appliance come to do service work on several of our appliances over the years. They have come at all different times and have repaired or made suggestions that were always to our benefit. I would recommend their staff and if you are somewhat a DIY,'er, I would recommend ordering parts as I have done. They will contact you as soon as it's there at the store. Very honest and reliable. My dryer would not heat. I suspected it was the heating element and/or the thermal fuse. I called them up to see if they had either part. Not only did they have it in stock they suggested i bring in my "broken" parts to test them first. Turned out both parts were still good and it was the thermostat that was broken. They could have easily said yes they are broken and made a $ale but he was honest and only sold me the part i really needed. Thank you for saving me about $60. Great Service! I am so happy to have my refrigerator repaired! Sean was extremely professional and courteous. It was a such a positive experience doing business with A1 appliance repair. What really impressed me the most is that they have been doing business in South Florida at the same location since 1965. How many other companies CAN SAY THAT? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. I called because my dryer was heating but not drying my clothes. I took time off of work to meet the repairman who came out and charged me $48 only to tell me it was not the dryer it was the vent that needed to be cleaned out. He went on to say he could not clean it out since the vent was on the roof and if he breaks a roof tile he would be liable. So what was the $48 for????? This company is very rude and disrespectful to it's clients. Had an experience where they came out to fix a dishwasher and created problems that were not existing before. They will not resolve the issue and were very rude to my pregnant wife. The owner himself has no customer service skills. Have been a customer with them for ten years so you would think they would want to keep an existing customer happy in light of todays economy.
