I had a very disappointing experience at 9Round Wheeling. The workouts can be intense, but if you're looking to learn proper boxing technique, this wasn't the place for me. In my opinion, the instructors seemed completely clueless when it came to teaching boxing fundamentals. I didn't receive meaningful corrections on my stance, footwork, or punching mechanics, and much of the instruction felt superficial. I have been a member since day 1 in August of 2018 and there is not a gym I’ve ever loved more! 9Round is truly family and each day I am greeted with smiles, energy, and excitement! Loved 9Round! Such a fun and motivating environment to work out in, especially when MO is there. The energy, encouragement, and workouts always make it an amazing experience!
I really recommend coming and checking out 9round Wheeling. The staff is super friendly and welcoming — and they push you just the right amount to make sure your workout is challenging while still fun. The 30 minute workout makes it really easy to fit into your schedule and it’s not intimidating. Love the community at 9round and the strength it’s given me!
This place is cool, and all the inserters and teachers are really nice and helpful.
