I'm gonna tell on my age on this post but here goes. I was one of the first hand batch of young moms having babies. This was in Feb 24th, 1994. Was a scheduled C section, so they let me spend the night before. Next day was Feb 25th. I didn't get any sleep, so I watched TV all night. Dr. Alensod, (asian man) was super sweet and handed me my baby girl. I'm not military, but came along with someone who needed a doctors appt. Not the fastest thing ever, but everyone was good at getting the job done. Is it the most welcoming place ever? No. But for me having a broken ankle while visiting, the wheel chair was fabulous, and a few military personal said hello to us which was very kind.
