Family favorite My family visits here very often to buy groceries. It has the largest selection out of all the asian supermarkets in the area. It is cheaper than American supermarkets, however it is kind of dirty and there are no employees wandering to help you out. It's a supermarket so it's not really important to have good service anyway. Sometimes the lines are long. They have a meat section, vegetable section, seafood section, snacks, a bakery, and even a cafe. You can buy cooked pork and walk out with dinner in hand.
good place this is one of the better asian supermarkets in san jose. they have a wide variety of produce, poultry, canned food, and seafood. they also carry air coolers, portable air conditioning units, rice cookers, and water boilers. also a lot of frozen items. they also have a good fast food area with a very good bakery also.
Nice asian supermarket This is one of the biggest asian supermarket in this region. I go to ranch 99 almost every week. They have a huge selection of groceries and I can buy almost everything I need there. It is big, clean and has many fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you need to buy groceries especially Chinese food, it is your best choice.
Price Slightly Higher, but good I would say this is like the nob hill or safeways of the asian supermarket chain. Well maintained, clean, wide selection, fresh produce and poultry. a lot of my friends, family and relatives go there when they need stuff. Also, during the hot summer days, they tend to also sell an air cooler very very cheap and works really well.
Ranch 99 Best place to buy your asian grocery needs. Good deals on every thing. Although it may not be the cleanest store in the neighborhood. The lines are sometimes long but that doesn't mean the people there are really helpful.
