It has a restaurant located in the store. Many selections to choose from and the food is good. The prices are reasonable. .
Family favorite My family visits here very often to buy groceries. It has the largest selection out of all the asian supermarkets in the area. It is cheaper than American supermarkets, however it is kind of dirty and there are no employees wandering to help you out. It's a supermarket so it's not really important to have good service anyway. Sometimes the lines are long. They have a meat section, vegetable section, seafood section, snacks, a bakery, and even a cafe. You can buy cooked pork and walk out with dinner in hand.
99 ranch I waled into this store he other day after a doctors appointment. I wanted to buy some chopsticks because I was hosting a dinner and it required chopsticks. The store itself had a great selection of things to choose from. However, the customer service was awful. No one was able to help me or understand what I was saying. And the cashier was also very rude. I was not impressed at all.
good place this is one of the better asian supermarkets in san jose. they have a wide variety of produce, poultry, canned food, and seafood. they also carry air coolers, portable air conditioning units, rice cookers, and water boilers. also a lot of frozen items. they also have a good fast food area with a very good bakery also.
Just average This 99 ranch seems old and run down compared to the other markets. The food is not as fresh, but not too bad. The selection is slightly smaller than Marina foods in Union City. They are very crowded and slightly dirty. The layout is not the same as the other 99 ranch so it's somewhat confusing. overall, i would still go there because it's convenient.
fresh meat/fish This chinese grocer all kinds of chinese food. They carry mostly chinese grocery and a very small section of American stuff. Every time I've been there, the parking lot is almost or very full. A lot of chinese buy fresh grocery there. With the high turnaround, their meat and fish products are much fresher than what the nearby Albertson carries.
