The parking lot is very sketchy and often downright dangerous with very dirty homeless junkie types. Also there’s never additional cashiers and the lines are ridiculous throughout the day and week.

Yesterday a huge rat jumped out from behind their shelves and hid under a crate. I wouldnt have written a review because of one instance, but since i had seen rat poop in their gallon water boxes about 2 wks to a month before this incident yesterday, i think its review worthy. I am pregnant and i have a toddler under 2, and after i saw that rat while shopping, we abondoned our cart and left. Absolutely gross! We will not come back til that issue is resolved. I love this .99 cent store�I do a lot of my food shopping here and I get so excited what I might find there...I never leave without a full basket ����
We like to go here because they have a good choice of produce for excellent prices.
Thee 99 cent store in yuba city is always busy. And the cashiers are a bit rude. The produce needs to be cleaned out more often. Good deals though.
