I believe I just got scammed. How the **** did this get posted on the IRS website. Did any of you contact the IRS and tell them this scam is being operated on their site? Now I'm out of $129. Wish I'd come across this BBB listing about two minutes ago. Sorry all of you have gone through this, too.

The irs website sent me to 97tax website to set up payment plan.I had to pay them $129. Never got an email or letter that they promised. They do not set up plans for the IRS. Now I am out $129. **************** 7/19/24
It's a SCAM cost me more than $97.00.did not carry through what they say they will do. Do not use them.Irs. or my state tax place never got the paperwork they claim to send nor my money. You can get paperwork for free from your tax place for free at no cost
They led me to believe that they were IRS, and collected money and information. Im very concerned this could be used for fraud !
This company is a fraud. I was attempting to apply for monthly installments pay plan with the IRS and some kind of way I got to redirected to 97 tax and when I applied and gave my social security number they took$129. I don't even know if they are connected with the IRS but I need my money back.
This company scammed me out of $119.00 for voucher forms. never sent the forms.
They took $128.00 from me and never helped resolve my payment agreement. Now I am dealing with the IRS directly. From now on I will contact the IRS instead of using scammers like this company.<br />
I called IRS in North Carolina, the IRS office on the envelope I was given to send in what I owed to the federal government. They told me to set up a payment plan online as the one-time application fee would be cheaper, and the site to do so was www.irs.gov/paymentplans. I followed the instructions. Immediately as I clicked on the site, I was directed to 97tax. They told me that to get the application set up, I would have to do a recognize me process.
