Confortable apartaments with a excelent infrastructure.
I have lived at the U for 2+ years. It was a terrific place to live when I first moved in. The staff, Dustin, Michael and Jerry are outstanding. In late November of 2024, the property owners sent an email to residents stating that new staff would be in the office, but there would be some kind of office coverage Monday through Friday. This quickly morphed into MINIMAL coverage, and not in any predictable way. I moved into 933 the U two years ago at the encouragement of my daughter who was a resident at the time. I was happy for the most part, although the quality of the appliances, the paint and the carpet are sub par. What has been altogether disappointing is the staffing changes in the last few months. We no longer have full time staff in the main office Monday through Friday. Michael, the building manager, shows up occcasionally, and this at the direction of the property owners. The phrase I found myself saying was, 'Too good to be true', which is something you say to soften yourself against eventual disappointment, except the blow never came: 933 The U was the gift that kept on giving. The resources are fantastic. Gym! Free use of bikes for residents! Barbecue facilities on the patio! A dog pond for the canine fanciers! It's a lovely place to live in. The management (Michael) is amazing and it's always clean, well kept, and most importantly, safe.
