I was so looking forward to our stay after reading the stellar reviews, however, we were very disappointed. When we booked, breakfast was supposed to be included, but there was no breakfast. We also could not get in to the hotel when we first got there because it was accidentally dead-bolted. We also got locked out a second time because our code to the front door stopped working. We don’t get ahold of anyone for 2 hours!! Sorely, sorely disappointed.
We were lucky enough to stay here for a wedding last weekend. It is one place where you are treated both like royalty and like family...waited on with smiles but also given freedom to help ourselves later in the day. Everything was PERFECT from the room to the food to the grounds ( a great back yard and fire pit and a beautiful front porch with comfy chairs.) It may have been our first visit but it surely wont be our last.
Absolutely Beautiful historic Bed and Breakfast in a wonderful lakeside town! Six couples stayed for the weekend for a wedding in town and we all enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms, breakfasts, grounds and our host Jill couldn’t have been better.
Fabulous spot! The place was stunning with amazing attention to detail. Very clean and spacious rooms. Saturday’s breakfast was delicious! The service was perfect! I would highly recommend 8510 for a group stay in Port Austin!
Absolutely beautiful! Excellent location and such a comfortable place. Jill did a wonderful job greeting us and making us feel at home. Beautifully decorated, spacious and elegant. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this breathtaking area along Lake Huron.
