New management in this building as of fall 2024—BEWARE. They purchased our building on the Upper East Side and began extensive, disruptive construction without informing tenants before lease renewal—while simultaneously raising rents. The work has dragged on for over a year with no end in sight. Expect constant drilling at all hours, over 50 construction workers with building access, and dust coating the hallways. I just renewed my lease for 85 East End. I love my spacious apartment. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Repairs are promptly completed and staff are always courteous. My apartment is quiet but city life is right outside my door.
Building management has been fantastic. Easy move in. The staff is absolutely wonderful and extremely kind. It’s felt like home since day 1.
