The bakery is located on the 1st floor of the Tangram Mall, 39th ave side. Very convenient by 7 train, parking at the mall for a fee. Learned about the opening so remembered to pass by when I was there. I don't mind the smaller bun sizes and a large variety too; and prices are low considering it is located in a mall.
This is a Taiwanese bakery called 85°C Bakery Café, located inside the Tangram Mall in Flushing☕️They serve coffee along with a variety of desserts, including their popular pineapple cakes. There’s also a dine-in area where you can sit down and enjoy your treats.
I finally found time to come here because for the first 6 months since opening, this place has been PACKED. I came early at 10am and there was no line to order drinks. There were a lot of assorted pastries but the pastries that I liked unfortunately had nuts in them, and I am allergic to nuts :/ So there wasn’t much else that looked appetizing to eat at 10am that also wasn’t super sugary for the morning. Great bakery! Had the Guava strudel, Strawberry and Cream puff pastry and Milk Bun are very fresh and inexpensive. Definitely recommend!
I was upset with how much ice they put in the cup, and I wasn’t allowed to customize the drink with less ice. The whole cup was filled with ice, and I barely got any drink! It felt like a complete rip-off.
