Dr. Rana is a fantastic ophthalmologist. However, the office practices are terrible in that, if you make an early morning appointment, don’t expect to be seen on time. Dr. Rana usually does not come in the office until 8 AM, so if you’ve made a 7 or 7:30AM appointment… Expect to wait a while.They set appointments as early as 7AM but do not tell you this useful bit of information. Can I charge them a $50 fee because they’re misleading scheduling makes me have to cancel a work meeting? My time has value as well.

I went to Dr Rana for a full checkup. Then I made an appointment for cataract surgery--I chose laser surgery with a tri-focal lens implant. Everything went very smoothly, no pain, no problems, excellent recovery. My vision is now 20-15 in the left eye. Planning on having the other eye done soon. I have recommended others to Dr. Rana, M.D. He repaired both of my eyes with cataracts and I have the utmost trust in him as a Doctor. I have since moved to Texas and went to another eye Doctor here in Cleburne, Texas. He did a complete check-up on my eyes and then told me that whoever the Doctor was that did my surgery did an amazing job which pleased me very much.

Very long wait times despite having appointment. Good service though, friendly, etc. Just plan on long wait times. Early morning appointments are best.

Had an appointment cancelled which, okay, not a huge deal, just an inconvenience. So I fill out my paper work and wait for 30 minutes before a lady who came in AFTER me gets called in before me. Get back into the room 50 minutes after arriving only to be told that it would be another 45 AT LEAST before the Dr. even arrived. I was heated. Not the nurses fault, wasn't mad at them. The Dr. didn't seem to care that I had waited close to 2 hours. He mumbled an insincere apology and rushed on.

Dr. Rana has been an exceptional person in mine and my family's eye healthcare. He is always compassionate and understanding. Takes time with each of us at our appointments until we are confident in his findings and comfortable that we have been taken care of during our visit. He's one of those rare few that are in medicine for the right reason!

Dr Rana is very pleasant, very through and has served my well for the last 6 years. He has removed my cataracts as well as followed up on some double vision and eyelid problems I have had. I find him to be very professional and very warm.

Between my husband and I we have had seven appointments canceled by Dr. Rana between October and the middle of December. My husband just had another appointment canceled and now they are saying it will be the end of January before they can get him in. Not sure what is going on but none of our appointments were on the same day so that is a lot of appointments canceled.
