On October 4th I canceled my membership to 828 Fit in Brevard, because the gym was always dirty and the machines were broken 1/2 the time. Plus the parking lot was always filled will kids not even working out at night. I was told that I would be charged for October but they would cancel the membership. I gave them my key fob and left. On Monday, November 7, 2022 I was charged for another month. And when I inquired about it was told my contract ran until November 16th, and I have to pay another month. The equipment is nice and the gym is not very busy. However, for a single month membership, they do not give you a key fob. So, you are stuck sitting outside waiting for someone to leave the gym to open the door for you. This makes me, and others, uncomfortable, and I had multiple people question my membership. If you sign up for a membership, you should get a fob to access the gym. This is not an issue with the recurring memberships. I think they have had an issue with people sharing fobs, but it doesn't make sense to punis... read more
