Writing this to assure others who are nervous going outside of Airbnb that this is a great place to stay and worked out well. We were at the Tropicabin on Kuhio Highway, the one titled "Haena A-frame home-next to Tunnels Beach" on Airbnb. It was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The YMCA beach across the street wasn't swimmable at that spot but was wonderful to watch sunrises from each morning, and a little further down the beach was a swimmable part according to a local we met.
