DO NOT PARK HERE! Here is my NIGHTMARE story! I went to a lunch event at the Levine. Parked on level 6, noted level and section numbers. Two hours later...my car was GONE. Checked to see if it was towed for some reason, it was not. WALKED THE ENTIRE GARAGE. NO CAR. Called police (thank you Levine Museum staff for help...garage security was CLUELESS). Police officer was WONDERFUL. He and I drove every square inch of garage. Looked at EVERY parking space. NO CAR. I get a call later that evening from someone claiming to be from... read more

Gouging the Public Do NOT PARK Here!!!!!! – OUCH. I just enjoyed a wonderful Sunday matinee at Spirit Square and left with a feeling of joy when to my surprise at the 7th street parking garage I was charged a whopping $16.00 for 3 hrs of parking. I thought it was a mistake. I had parked exclusively at 7th street for years and it was never more than 5.00. No longer a bargain :( – Apparently this garage has been taken over by a MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE management company, or they just drastically increased their prices. Now it costs $2 for the first 20 minutes, and $2 more for each additional 20 minutes - I was only there long enough to have lunch at a nearby restaurant, and it cost me $14 to get out. I will NOT be parking here again!!

7th Street Parking Garage – This is the most reasonable (price wise $$'s) garage in Charlotte. Easy to get in & out of. Employees very helpful in all cases. Great location within in walking distance of most of the larger office buildings in the downtown area. The other garages in the area charge upwards of $8.00 to $15.00 for fours hours of parking & and no free time for the first hour like they do here. Monthly rates of $65.00 per month. Can't beat it!!!
