Do not recommend. Horrible service. Plenty of other restaurants to spend your money on. Do not recommend at all.
I cannot even believe we went here on vacation. I have traveled and eaten at a lot of different places and I can strongly say, this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. We were told by a very nice hotel to come here so we were thinking it must be nice. Well the first thing was the parking lot had one other car which should have been a sign on a Sunday dinner. Shrimp Cesar salad was disgusting and soggy.
I have always loved dining at 790, my favorite spot in Destin, but my recent experience was disappointing. Our waiter, Ken, seemed to take our feedback poorly, becoming frustrated and upset. The issues we encountered were not his fault but stemmed from the kitchen. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp étouffée, which was completely lacking in flavor. Slowest food service. Waitress was bad, not a single refill. Waited probably 30 minutes just to get the check after we were done eating because waitress never came out of the kitchen. Food was OK, but not worth the price at all. Would not recommend or go back.
