On Sunday, July 26, I ordered Qabili Palao to-go from 786 Kabob House in Newark. The last time I had truly excellent Qabili Palao was in Afghanistan 14 years ago, and today I experienced that same authentic taste once again. The dish was exceptionally fresh with a generous portion of meat. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated with traditional Afghan cultural elements that create a warm and authentic atmosphere. Ordered through Uber Eats. The chicken was good and tasty but the kebab was terrible and disappointing
I was in town for a wedding (originally from Orlando florida) and have been craving some afghani food for a while. Florida maybe has one or two afghani places if you can believe it. Saw this place across the hotel and darted over , placed an order for Qabli polao. Man I was sooo happy, nice chunks of meat and the rice had sooo much flavor. The portions were so generous! I was sooo happy content and full till dinner the same day (had this for a late brunch) . Really recommend
My lamb kebab too juicy. My mantoo too creamy. It was delicious.
My uber driver recommended this place so i went. This is by far the best Afghani food ive had in North America. Highly recommend.
