I had a pretty terrible experience living at 727 West Madison Street, and I would not recommend it. First, the HVAC system is unbelievably loud—so loud that it made it difficult to sleep on multiple nights, especially with the HVAC system being inside the bedroom! For a 725 sq. ft. one-bedroom, the system feels completely oversized and poorly designed. I lived in 727 for 4 years. This is the best building in chicago, the amenities are great, the staff is the nicest. Megan, Kendall + team are super responsive and helpful. If I experience any issues, they are resolved within 24 hours. The studios have the best storage space. HIGHLY recommend - you won’t regret it.
My husband and I lived here for approx 2 years and loved our time here! Extremely responsive maintenance staff, with most of our issues getting resolved within an hour. We've never had any packages lost or stolen. Also really enjoyed the weekly yoga class and building events. Only minor complaint is that we lived in a convertible unit with an integrated microwave & small kitchen fan. The fan and was not very effective so the whole place smelled after making food.
