This was by far the most stressful closing experience we have ever had. We arrived at our scheduled closing appointment only to learn that the payoff requests for our loans had not been obtained. We were informed at closing that the payoff requests had only been requested approximately 10 days earlier, despite the transaction having been under contract for nearly two months.
