Exactly the same story. I was quoted $95.00 for an alignment and dropped my truck off. Called me about an hour later and told me it would be $1200.00. I had just changed the rack and pinion and the steering wheel was not centered which is why I sought an alignment. There was nothing wrong with my ball joints and tie rod ends. It's called up selling. Suckers beware!
We were in a hurry, and they were unable to help us right away, so they referred us to other great mechanic shops in the area.
