I had a fantastic experience @ 5th st Auto service. I needed several repairs done to pass inspection and Will worked with my budget and my schedule to get them done....in fact, one of the parts was going to cost me thousands but he was able to locate the part for me at a fraction of the price! Another aspect of this shop that I really liked was the family vibes...the receptionist was super sweet, welcoming, and very personable, his team is his young adult son(s) and if you have to sit down there while your repairs are being ... read more
Had a last minute issue with my car overheating right after work ~5 pm. Will was thankfully able to get me in same day about an hour before closing. After dropping off my car, the team was able to promptly replace my water pump and make sure everything was okay for pickup within the next couple days. Car is running better than before I was having issues. Great prices and great service! I would definitely recommend this auto shop to others!
Will was a poilte and kind mechanic. But due to many inconveniences that he created I have to give him 3 stars. My experience: 1st let down Made an appointment ahead of time with verbal agreement from Will. In the end Will was never there and was closed when his hours says he should be open (I even waited 2 hours) 2nd let down The mechanic next down was very kind to help arrange Will to do my pre-purchase inspection. What an amazing man Will is. On our way to Myrtle Beach, SC from Ontario, Canada our water pump went in our truck. While waiting for a tow, we googled nearby garages and 5th Street Auto Service was at the top of the list. We called him at 7pm on a Wednesday night and he stayed until we arrived. He tried is very best to get us fixed that night (which we were not expecting at all), but one part was not available until the morning. Will had us back on the road by noon hour Thursday.
