I got a bill today, funny. I am STILL waiting for my HIPAA RECORDS…for the before & after XRAYS…financial records, to see if they were properly adjusted and why she needed to bill 2 insurances for same procedure. The 2nd insurance was a backup… I need them to send all my paperwork to be reviewed. I ended up losing a tooth (#19) due to… I filled out the forms and nothing happened. I sent emails about 4 times about them…no answer.
I recently visited 5th Avenue Dental, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. First, they sold me a toothbrush at a price nearly three times the actual market value, which felt like a clear markup. Additionally, I was misled about the availability of one of the doctors—this lack of transparency was frustrating. To make matters worse, they quoted me a price during this visit that was higher than the one they gave just two weeks prior, without providing any explanation.
