Absolutely one of the best barbershops I’ve been to! The place is spotless, clean, and has a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The barbers are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. They really take their time to make sure everything is perfect, and the quality of the haircut speaks for itself.

So the owner Has Groupon’s available online and that’s how I found the place. I am a first time customer And he was arguing with me over text messages about not accepting the Groupon. We then cleared that up but I have no clue why you put something on Groupon to attract customers then be upset when they use it. I already had an appointment for 2 PM Then he asked me to come at 3 PM. Which was irritating, but it worked out. I get there A little bit early. Then he goes oh, we don’t have enough time. After reading quite a number of reviews left by people, I will now leave my review. 11/5/25 9:30 AM After getting off the ferry and walking up State Street looking for a new place to get a haircut I see a sign in front of 53 State Street saying walk-ins welcome State Street barbershop. He took me right away. Hicham was very nice. I found the shop to be clean and organized. I liked the way he had his scissors and other tools of the trade laid out.
