Your recycling does not get recycled, it goes to a landfill. I put an Airtag in my commercial recycling to find out. They took it to the Republic South Denver Transfer facility, which openly states they do not take recycling from haulers other than Republic. Meaning 5280 knows they are just taking the recycling to the trash. Then from that transfer facility, it went to the Towe Landfill north of Pena. Here is a picture of the result. Went to sam’s club so i had quite a few small boxes broken down along with my trash. Should i have put them all together, sure yeah i should’ve. does that mean stand in front of my camera for a minute acting cocky putting them all in one, while struggling to do so, and proceed to flip my camera off ? No. This was already sent to the supervisor of the company and showed to my apartment management. I hope to never see this guy at my door again.
I manage a very small community association and was having a really rough time with a different, well-known, trash removal company. When I asked Steven at 5280 for a quote, I never expected that he would go so above and beyond to help me cancel with the other trash removal company despite not having a signed contract with us yet. He really showed an incredible amount of integrity. I also really appreciate how clear and transparent the contract they sent was, fees aren't buried in it like some of the larger companies have.
