“Dyno-Mike” at 5250 Performance was a pleasure to work with. Great experience end to end. I’ve never done a chassis dyno session before. I hand built a truck from scratch and was looking for someone to double-check the tune and adjust the speedometer. Overall, my experience with 5250 was good, but not without challenges. I brought in an LS swap with Painless wiring and ECU. The team got started quickly, but I felt the ECU was dismissed too soon as the root issue, despite Painless being a reputable brand. After trailering the car two hours, I had to bring down a factory ECU to continue. When tuning still didn’t go smoothly, I was told it was a wiring issue and that they couldn’t spend more time on it. I have always had nothing but the best experiences with Mike and his crew. Mike has been my go-to mechanic for any task big or small, he is extremely knowledgeable on all platforms. You can tell every car he touches, he takes as much pride as he would in his own vehicle. I had a wonderful experience yesterday at 5280! Mike was super informative and helpful, and he was sure to let me know about all the issues he ran into! They fixed the clutch assembly on my 09 wrx and I couldn’t be happier with the work! It drives so much smoother now!

Highly recommend! Mike and Ryan are both very knowledgeable and experienced mechanics, with a passion and niche for high performance. The shop runs on schedule and all work is done right the first time. Plus, they called periodically to give me updates, lay out different options to solve specific problems, and guided me on the best solution for my car, my needs, and my budget.
