I used my storage unit for a year thinking my belongs would be safe but they were not. I had water damage mold mouse poop and urine and nests in my belongings I lost hundreds of dollars worth of things I even sent an email out after I moved out and sent photos of the damage that had been done I never received a phone call or another email back.
