I loved this building. The views were incredible, and the location was amazing. There was a small but well equipped gym, an in-house dry cleaner’s that I could drop my clothes off at on the way to work. It was easy to submit requests and management/security was always quick to respond. The windows were noise insulating against the midtown traffic below, and there were no bugs. It was a safe, calm oasis in the city.
I wrote a negative review a few months ago regarding smoking issues that went unresolved. Those have since been taken care of, so I wanted to provide a more balanced perspective. The front desk staff is friendly and attentive; maintenance is super responsive. Case in point: One night at 4:00am the smoke detector started beeping because the battery was dying. As another tenants pointed out, TFC management hasn’t really done much about the smoking issue in their buildings. It feels like the problem has become so common that they’ve just given up on it. We’ve had to step in and talk to our neighbors ourselves if we want to see any change.
A smoker's paradise. Supposedly it is a smoke-free building, but someone near my unit smokes all the time, both marijuana and cigarettes. I have notified management multiple times, but no response and no action. So if you're a smoker, this is the place for you! Unfortunately for me, I am sensitive to smoke, but am stuck with no recourse and zero response from management. What was once a great apartment is now a smoke filled misery.
