This was my worst move in 10 moves. I used a broker (didn’t know I was using a broker) and 500 Move showed up. I thought it was a little sketchy so I was asking questions to make sure everything was on the up and up. If I could give a zero star I would. A bunch of hidden fees that are not properly explained. $100 fee to go up an elevator, $75 fee for truck to elevator. You are stuck because you need your things so you have to pay. I have spent 2000 over what was originally quoted and an additional 150 the day of delivery. Do not waste your time with this company. Show no concern for your time, cost, or belongings, & are obviously just out to grab all the money they can get out of you. Because of the bait and switch the timeline made it impossible to turn them away. I knew that was a bad deal & sketchy contract, but felt I didn’t have any other options, so I regretfully signed. The moving foreman said, “This is going to cost “thousands & thousands & thousands more” & berated me about how much stuff I had for 30 min. Be very careful when obtaining quotes from this mover. Regardless of an electronic contract signed they do not stand behind the contract or any special agreements that were made. Also watch out for delivery dates, read the contract as they could care less when you requested your delivery and will tell you they have 21 and up to 30 days to deliver. I did a claim and i was shunned. I was offered a hundred bucks for my lost. I don't want a hundred bucks i want my $600 roll away tool box and my $8,500 tools that was stolen and other items that was stolen. This company deserves a zero and a no star.
