They mix those who are in for addiction and those there for mental health all together. A lot of the groups they did didn’t apply. Endless worksheets. They stole my candy my brother had shipped to me that I was allowed to have and ate it. The addiction counselor tried to use techniques that make it even worse for someone with chronic PTSD so that was a nightmare. Brenda had a very mean girl attitude and told me “no one will want a bpd housewife” she also told me that I “smelled bad” [I showered daily and wore deodorant] she also didn’t know how to treat me so she just gave up on me and our sessions consisted of her sitting on her computer doing “more important work” as she said.
