407 ETR Rate Hikes Are Out of Control I looked at my exact same commute on the 407 (same route, same time, same distance) over the past 4 years — and the numbers are honestly shocking. Morning peak commute (Hwy 400 → Dixie): 2023: $0.5256/km 2024: $0.6230/km (+18%) 2025: $0.7446/km (+19%) 2026: $1.0418/km (+40%) That’s a ~98% increase in just 3 years. Less hassle when traveling to Toronto. Granted you pay but I find that the highway is smoother and it is well maintained.
Seriously overpriced after the latest fee increase. Will not be paying this much. Got 1 good promo back in December, and they've gone downhill since then.
