We had an exceptional experience at 400 Meeting in Charleston, SC, this summer. From the moment we arrived, Adam (the leasing manager) and Jayme (the property manager) were invaluable. The apartment layout was perfect for our son, with a private bathroom connected to the bedroom, parking, and great amenities like the gym and pool. The location near downtown was ideal! The worst experience I have ever had with an apartment. My college aged son subleased for three months. We were overcharged on several items and are still getting letters and notices that we owe money, even though we have provided proof that we have paid in full. We have rented and sublease numerous places and hands-down. This has been the worst.
Worst management ever. The management change hands with every phase of the moon. Impossible to get in contact with anybody in the office. Josh is the only reliable and trustworthy employee in this whole disaster of an apartment building.
This the couch you get for $2000 a month. Gross and unacceptable. Landlord says this is ok. Do not rent here. Slum lords.
