I have been buying parts from 4wheel Parts in Phoenix & Mesa, both have closed in the past few years. I decided to try the Gilbert location and just walked in .... struggled to get someone to help me with a question...left unsatisfied. Try them again to discuss a warranty issue with Bilstein Shocks ..... got the "we are not an authorized dealer so you need to contact the manufacturer" After contacting Bilstein they said I need proof of purchase from where I purchased them. For two years now we’ve been going into the Post Falls location, and for the last year or so it’s been going downhill. The district manager has moved on, and the entire store management team has followed suit. The quality of the service department has tanked, and the customer service has gone out the window. Once you see wholesale change like this, it makes you wonder what the entire 4-Wheel Parts Corporation must be like. No wonder they have so many employees and parts at Tampa 4 Wheel Parts. They charge you for everything up front. I called to make an appointment for a wheel alignment and they charged me $85 (half of the wheel alignment cost) over the phone. That should’ve been a red flag but I ignored it because I needed it. I dropped off my Jeep five days later and within 2 hours I received a call stating I needed ball joints and replace the drive shaft for $1550. I had the worst experience ever at the Norcross site. After I was finally waited on (short people, I get it) and the parts arrived, I was told the day before that the shop had Covid (again, I get it) and was rescheduled. On the appointment day I had a 9am appointment I dropped the vehicle off early. I called several times through out the day trying to see when I needed to be there to pick it up. I won't be coming back here again. I had good luck with them in the past, but their flagrant flaunting of COVID-19 precautions was inexcusable. At one point, I was the only person amongst 7 other individuals in the room wearing a mask properly. A few of them were not wearing masks entirely. One customer stood in the corner the entire time I was there without a mask on.
