I took my dog Bear to 4 paws vet in Springfield. I told Dr Mcdonald that he was walking slow and not running any more. I asked that he be checked for Lyme disease and they agreed to that but told me Bear was due for a distemper shot and could use a kennal cough vacation. Dr Mcdonald was glad to give Bear a distemper shot and laughed as she gave him a kennal cough vacation. Then Dr Mcdonald check Bears stomach and told me that he needs a ultrasound. Vet not on duty during full business hours and they are not good in returning phone calls. If your pet goes to an emergency vet and has records faxed to them, they don't bother to follow up. If you do see a vet, they seem to be nice and competent, but there never seems to be a vet around, just office staff who don't seem to care. Don't think we'll be going back.
Great staff! Dr. Danials is a super Vet with wonderful bedside manner. Frankie loves his vet!
BEST VET AND STAFF EVER!!! – We lost our pug Ruby suddenly and although 4 Paws was not her vet, they were the closest to our house. I rushed Ruby in there and they took her immediately and did what they could for her to try to save her. We were heart broken and Dr. Daniel and her staff let us stay as long as we needed in one of her exam rooms, and even checked on us days later so see how we were doing.
