During my last several sessions, the therapist (Sophia) kept making leading statements / assumptions about me that were untrue. She also told me I wouldn’t be able afford some of their services. I have since cancelled and have switched providers.
Previously it was good. Most recent sessions, therapist started making false statements / accusations about me. Also told me I wouldn’t be able afford some of their services when I was inquiring
Selekman was unable to listen and understand my issues. Felt very dismissive and often finished my sentences with something totally different than what I was gonna say-missing the point. He also gave off very traditional and disrespectful. He seems like a good social worker for recovering alcoholics and people with physical disorders, but is unable to effectively work through trauma and integrate. Sophia Shlain has been truly incredible in helping me work through my childhood trauma and guiding me to see life through a completely new lens.
