This company just tries to extract as much money as possible from you. I was trying to change the shower cartridge and broke the old one in the process. I called this plumber and he said cartridge is stuck, whole assembly needs to be changed, but meanwhile he turned a couple of screws to stop the water and charged $175 for that. Then later sent me a quote of $1000 to replace the whole assembly. I just managed to pull out the broken cartridge myself by drilling a screw in it and pulling it and installed the new cartridge. Excellent experience with Pablo from 357 Plumbing. I wanted to get a heat pump water heater installed. It was a GE brand and Pablo was recommended as an installer for these GE models. He gave a very reasonable quote (other companies were astronomical!), helped walk through the purchase from a supplier, and installed it. The results are great, you can see he takes pride in clean work. Would recommend for price and quality work.
I hired Pablo to fix a shower leak that I couldn’t fix myself. I bought the replacement part, and the leak was fixed – credit where it’s due, that part was done right. But that’s about the only thing this guy got right. Pablo told me he needed to go through the back wall, remove plaster, and promised he’d put everything back properly. Well, he didn’t. Our garbage disposal started leaking one day into our cupboard and we were desperate for someone to come out right away to fix it as we couldn’t really do anything in our kitchen, without our kitchen sink.
