Unprofessional. Cancelled our reservation minutes before our arrival on a Friday night, a waste of our time that was particularly frustrating since making reservations anywhere else was impossible at the last minute.
We had a late Mother’s Day dinner at the winery restaurant yesterday and were very impressed. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, modern but still warm and relaxing. We both ordered the steaks and they were excellent. Cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. What really stood out though was the service. Fig Port Duck Confit was delicious, not to mention the crispy polenta. Paired with the Grizzly Cab Franc. Very nice.

We visited 31 Charkay for a few appetizers and drinks. The service was very good—our server was attentive, professional, and knowledgeable, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The calamari was dry and overcooked, and while the portabella fries are a great concept, they were just average. The presentation was disappointing—a stack of deep-fried mushroom slices sitting in a pool of mayonnaise didn’t feel very refined.
