Beware of quotes changing on-site with Local Handyman. They send a qoute a full structural door jamb replacement, arrived unprepared without parts, and delivered a sloppy, unfinished patch job and charge for materials that they take with them. ​After negotiating, I ended up paying $200 CAD for rough framing. When challenged on the poor quality and scope mismatch, management made excuses and hid behind fine print rather than taking accountability or making it right. This company takes advantage of people. In my experience, Local Handyman Regina was a pleasure to work with. My first call with Lesley was professional, understanding, and informative. This laid the foundation for what was a smooth and efficient renovation. Osrick was our contractor, and we had him working on our renovations for a week and a half. In the first week, from Wednesday to Friday, he removed our old toilet, checked our subfloor, prepped some drywall for repair, laid down new vinyl flooring, painted, reinstalled our baseboards, and put in our new toilet.... read more
