My mother moved into 305 West End Avenue Assisted Living a little over a month ago and we are very happy with our decision to choose 305. The building, common areas and residents’ rooms are very well maintained, clean, bright and fresh. There is quite a lot of programming, daily stuff and special events, outings, interesting presentations, talks, music. My spouse resided in the memory care unit for slightly over two years. We are in the process of applying for a Medicaid bed for her in a nursing home. The Medicaid application requires proof of the applicant's residence for the five years prior to the application. I HAVE CONTACTED THE GENERAL MANAGER FOUR TIMES requesting a simple statement on 305 WE letterhead stating the dates of her residency and still have not received the letter.

This is my Dad's 2nd assisted living facility and it is 180 degrees better. In the first few weeks we have had like 109 different people responsive to my Dad's needs. Its a top notch facility with a great team!

Staff (notably Andre and Drew) went the extra mile, staying late to show us around and remaining patient and flexible as our process had a number of false starts, twists and turns. Would definitely recommend 305 for attentive staff, good accommodations and great location on the Upper West Side.

I thought long and hard about whether or not to post a review; I honestly am so happy to never have to be involved with this place again. I moved my 86 year old mother, who has a Traumatic Brain Injury, in January of 2023. I live out of state, and my mom’s Live-In caregiver of 14 years was dying of cancer.
