Overpriced menu and poor service. The "blackened" shrimp and grits wasn't blackened at all. Our server only stopped by our table for orders and the check during a quiet evening. Be warned that they up-charged our card more than the total on our receipt. Called the restaurant to find out, however no one picked up the phone and the voicemail was full, no wonder. Will not be returning ever.
Dar behind the bar was very nice and attentive. Made our time there extra special
Crab cake was good, though perhaps a bit small for the price. Fries were good. Smash burger was good. Shrimp crostini was good but could have been plated better to avoid bread getting soggy.
Our waiter, Zach was very good and attentive. Great location. Food was just okay, not enough flavor.
Unfortunately this place seams to be kid bias the front of the restaurant was half empty and we were immediately sat all the way in the back by the bar and a fire door that constantly beeped when asked about stopping it was told by the manager they couldn’t do anything. The staff was using to door to enter and exit the place the seats in the bar area were hard as rocks I felt like we were being punished for having toddlers with use. The FD may not be happy about the door issue.
