Love this place. We go every year Very quaint little place we always get the spa suite. Love it never wanna leave Joseph is so helpful It’s quiet, beautiful little place
Although located within walking distance to the 3 Sisters, the town centre is quite a long walk away. The tariff is reasonable, but like most motels in Katoomba, there hasn't been a dollar spent on maintenance in the last 20 years. For example, the refrigerator exudes a certain rustic (or should that be rusty) charm and the curtains have extra ventilation holes for your comfort. Unfortunately, this seems to be the common standard in Ktown.
Price-wise, the stay was reasonable and the location was excellent. However, we found beer can lids on the carpet, which shows the room was not properly cleaned. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working.
For the price I paid for a two-night stay, this accommodation is not only affordable but genuinely worth every penny. The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the essentials. Yes, it’s a little dated — but if you’re in Katoomba to explore, the room is more than enough and does exactly what you need it to do.
