We checked out a few places and then swung by 3 Dollar Carpet and met up with Butch. We saw the carpets they had and settled on. 60 weight carpet with 8 lb pad for approx 850 SQ feet with stairs. They beat other prices from a bigger well known stores by $1000-1500. It was scheduled quickly and an installer team he had ran by a guy named Joseph did a phenomenal job tearing out and installing. Super nice guys came out we went over everything in my basement due to some unlevel areas. Installer (Jose) was there to go over everything before hand but came in leveled a bedroom that really did not need all he did and he left my main large family room with major high and low spots. I’m so disappointed in this flooring. He also damaged my walls unnecessarily. I was a day muding and painting what was already finished. He also laid it exactly how I said I did not want. I found 3 dollar carpet online and was a little sceptical at first because of the claim of lower prices, but we needed a lower price for our budget. This was such a great decision as we were able to get high quality materials for a fraction of the price a big box store was selling it for!
