The room was very disappointing as we had paid extra for an upgrade. Kitchen and bathrooms both in desperate need of a makeover. Dirty pans in oven, fridge froze food overnight, mould in shower, rotten timber around shower, wobbly dining chairs. Certainly would not return.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time in a 3 bedroom modern apartment on the 26th floor. Views were phenomenal and the indoor and outdoor pools were very well maintained. Yes, there’s some construction taking place around the area but we weren’t bothered by it at all.

This review should be read in the context of June 2025 and people beware of booking for the next 6-12 mths. We booked an apartment via Booking.com. Space is refurbed and lovely BUT the construction going on literally next door where two apartment buildings are going up (and very early stages) mean that the outdoor pool noisy and not relaxing, balcony coffee / drinks - forget about it the noise was just terrible. First holiday together as a family of three was disappointing. Staff were accommodating to move our booking back a week because of cyclone Alfred, however on arrival we had to request a room change due to the rooms condition. The carpet had not been vacuumed with the likes of debris and nail clippings present, there was mold in the showers, we found two dead cockroaches and one live one, and there was so much dust that myself and my 4 month old infant were constantly sneezing. Staff were disorganised and dismissive on various occasions, bordering on incompetent. Manager was elusive. It took me a month of countless calls and several emails to get back my “bond”. This should have been a “pre-authorization hold” in case of damages, however it was not processed correctly by reception and left my account immediately. I should never have had to chase this up, let alone continuously over a month. To say I am furious and appalled at the service is an understatement.
