Have a 2017 R8-V10+ and unlike many, I use this car - too much money to be a queen in a garage - with 51,000 miles I scraped the ends of the lower lip bumper enough to show. Audi wants 8K for a new part!!!! Live in Reno and could find no one who was willing to repair the bumper. Interacted with Andrew via text and pictures and last Friday stopped by their shop on a return to Reno. They did an excellent job, can’t tell the difference from new and did it in 3 hours. After talking with a friend that recently had his Rs6 worked on here it gave me a flashback. Firstly, after major surgery it leaked like a sieve as it left the shop. Open ended back and forth resolution after spending 10 K plus. Moving on: Years ago, I had a local dealer take a C-5 Rs6 in for a PPI. Less than an hour later, while the car is still at two Bennett I'm told the car is all of a sudden sold. How does that happen? Bought and Audi A4 here, and thought I was making a good purchase. I was lead to believe this car had 145k miles on it but was perfectly taken cared of “wasn’t salvaged, no engine issues”. They’d told me they replaced the turbo and spark plugs, but I was never given proof of receipts even after asking for them. Last week I took my car to an auto repair shop due to engine failure. The owner, Andrew, and his team, are experienced Audi technicians. I can recommend these guys to get Audi expertise, but avoid dealership rates and avoid the excessive dealership mark up on parts .
