I lived in this complex for 6 years - long enough to know that the glowing 5-star reviews about how “helpful” Chris is are either from his friends or from people who only toured the property and never actually lived here. Anyone who has truly lived here knows how bad it is. SAFETY ISSUES (THE WORST PART) There were multiple shootings on the property during my time here — including one where an employee shot into a resident’s unit. The complex is not clean or well maintained. Doors stay broken for months, and the place feels unsafe — there have even been shootings and constant loud noise from the overflow of Airbnbs in the area, trash never being picked up, people never cleaning up after dogs etc. It’s just gross!! The staff offers little to no help when problems come up. Despite what some reviews say, Chris was not helpful at all in my experience. Overall, it’s been disappointing and stressful living here. The following is my opinion only: My wife and I lived at 266 Lofts for almost seven years. During that time (and especially since RPM took over) we had significant issues with communication with the staff, trash and a lack of maintenance/cleaning in the halls, security gates and doors being broken (one door for more than a year despite multiple emails), an overflowing dumpster, and significant security and cleanliness issues at the pool and elsewhere on the property. This is an HONEST review. I have been living here since December 2023 and nothing has gotten better. All of these 5 star reviews in the past month have me extremely confused when it has only gotten worse since I moved in and most tenants will agree. Looking at an apartment is different than actually living so having possible tenants leave reviews to boost the score seems manipulative.
