My recommendation is to just skip them, go to another cab service altogether. They are horribly rude. I don't know how they have any business ever. I waited for about 30 minutes on hold, and as soon as I got an actual person, they mumbled something while laughing, and when I said "Pardon?" they just hung up, which is incredibly frustrating after holding for them. Don't Do It!! Go to checker cab or some other cab service!
I took a cab ride and when I arrived to my destination and gave the driver my card, he started reaming me out for not telling him I was gonna use a credit card before I got in the cab to take the ride. I apologized, he claimed his system was offline ( total b.s.) but swiped my card anyways and i watched him type in $96.55 instead of $9.65. If you plan on using a credit card to pay for your cab, be sure to check the statement. I have used Chicago Carriage twice now, and both time I have noticed multiple charges to my credit card for the same trip.
THIS WAS MY first time trying to use the cab service and I must say it will CERTAINLY be my last!!! I was hung up on SEVERAL TIMES and had to call back for an hour an a half,before I was even able to speak to anyone!!! I WILL NERVER USE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE this company!!!!
I tried getting a cab and I was hung up on 3 times. 2 times they pickep up and said nothing for about 10 seconds as I said hello the third time the lady was rude when I asked for an advance pick up. She "no" and hung up. DON"T USE THEM!
I tried to make a reservation to Midway from the south side of Chicago and was denied service. She told me it was because I was so close that the cab drivers preferred to drive to O'Hare at that time of day, but I scheduled the cab for 2:30 in the afternoon! Basically my trip wasn't far enough for them to milk me, so they refused to service me all together! Choose a company that offers their services to EVERY paying customer, not the ones that just want to get as much money from you as they can!
I missed my flight because of this company. I arranged a pickup for 8:15 AM; when the cab didn't arrive, I called. I was told to wait 5 minutes. At 8:30 I called again; the dispatch operator said the cab had "disappeared," and asked me to wait another 10 minutes for a second cab. 25 minutes later, I got a call from the second cab; the driver told me he was outside.
