Former endurance athlete but got fat quickly after a few years of not racing and something needed to be done. Never lifted a weight in my life until March 2025. Gym environments can feel intimidating for people like me who aren't "built." I work at UNC Charlotte half the week during fall and spring semesters and was looking for a gym away from my main home when I found 24-7 Total Fitness. First time here today. It was very chill. I enjoyed the vibes.
Has everything you need! I did a drop in while visiting family over the holidays (great price for a day pass!) they have A cardio section, multiple cable machines, and enough weigh machines that you don't have to wait for. The best part was that the owner, Freddie, demonstrated true Christian values of care and kindness that they advertise this gym to be based on. Can't wait to come back again! 🤗
