My water heater broke 2 years after purchase of a new home. This company came out and informed me it needed a replacement and could not be repaired. Overall cost was over $3500. They informed me to file a warranty reimbursement through the manufacturer which I did to try to get some money back. Rheem is willing to honor the warranty and reimburse $700 for the unit but cannot without an itemized receipt so they can see the cost of the unit charged.
