This place is a disaster, and JBG is the cherry on top of the mess. The fridge? It’s a freezer that ruins everything. Ten “repairs” later, I just gave up. The dishwasher? I have lived here for almost 2 years and move out due to relocation. It’s a nice apartment with great rooftop view. The maintenance team is responsive and the management team is responsible. It has a 24 hours concierge. The gym is nice and has a boxing bag!
First let me say that Desiree is absolutely amazing! She has been so patient and answered all my questions and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect unit. Highly recommend asking to work with her (though Im sure the rest of the staff is great).
Worst leasing office experience ever. Turned me away. In town specifically for apartment searches. Didn’t even offer a virtual or self tour. Beyond frustrating.
Between an insane neighbor that likes to slam his door 6x in a row near midnight and the JBG Smith construction guys that the developer can't seem to reign in, who start making noise at random times every day like 6:45, or 5:30, or 6:10, etc, I'm on a 6 week sleep deficit since moving in. I moved from Ukraine and despite being bombed 3-4 nights a week I was literally sleeping better there, which sounds ridiculous but is somehow true (at least the shelter was quiet!).
