My partner and I stayed three nights. In Charleston . It was a wonderful place to visit and tour. The home was a one in a million home that took you back to a period of time when things moved slower. This was a delightful experience. The breakfast was so well served and the attention to detail was incredible. We will never forget our experience in this beautiful home and town. Really enjoyed the olde worlde ambience, the attention to detail, the comfort, lovely breakfast, greetings from the kitty kats, etc - all the things others have said, but the two things that really stood out for me were Vaughan's willingness to share her knowledge and passion about Charleston and the absolute luxury of having a bath rather than a shower. 22 Charlotte completely won us over with its genuine Southern charm. The home itself is absolutely stunning—stately, spacious, and beautifully restored, with the kind of character you just can’t find in modern accommodations. I am giving Vaugn (the owner) a 5 star review because the house is beautiful (with tasteful antiques and furnishings), the breakfast was good and overall our experience was great. Vaugn does have some rules and keeps a close on whats going on, but it is her home and she needs to keep it in good condition. She is also very knowledgeable about the city (restaurants, history and other highlights) and I felt that she would help us if we had any questions.
Excellent.
